Keith Morrison marshals over 25 years of public policy experience when advocating for his clients priorities. Blending his knowledge and connections from stints in both Congress and the Executive Branch, Keith provides his clients with “outside the box” thinking to solve complex problems.
As a Vice President at VSA, Keith views his role as helping to create better public policy and improve outcomes for his clients and their communities. With a portfolio that includes higher education, research, health care, criminal justice, and community development, Keith has mastered the often-opaque maze of Federal bureaucracy.
Prior to joining Van Scoyoc Associates, Keith was a senior advisor to Secretaries and Deputy Secretaries at the Departments of State and Commerce. His work at these agencies focused on economic development, budgetary matters, and foreign policy - specifically South Asia. He also served as a Legislative Director for a Member of Congress from Pennsylvania, handling the appropriations and armed services portfolios. During his time on Capitol Hill, he spear-headed a bipartisan, multi-state efforts to recruit private sector businesses to the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard property.
Keith holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from the University of California at Los Angeles and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the Harvard University Kennedy School of Government. Keith and his wife, Jeanette Pablo, live in Washington, D.C., with their twins.
