Madhu Thyagarajan is a Legislative Assistant at Van Scoyoc Associates, where she supports clients through Congressional and federal agency research and policy analysis. Her work primarily focuses on Veterans' Affairs, Small Business, Defense, and Homeland Security issues.
Before joining Van Scoyoc Associates, Madhu worked at the United States Department of State in the Office of Sanctions and Counterterrorism, where she contributed to policy analysis, sanctions demarches, and diplomatic coordination. Madhu earned her bachelor’s degree in International Studies and National Security from American University, with a minor in International Business.
