Will Smith manages an array of issues for clients ranging from large and small corporations and associations, transportation agencies, and counties and municipalities. He analyzes and monitors legislation and regulatory actions and helps clients develop congressional and executive branch engagement strategies.
Prior to joining VSA, Will served as the Special Assistant to the CEO of the Republican Main Street Partnership and PAC. There, he built and maintained relationships with more than 50 Congressional offices who belonged to Main Street. He monitored and reported on relevant legislative and political developments and worked with corporations and trade associations to build support for Main Street and the priorities of the Members.
Will began his career Washington as an intern for Rep. Mike Kelly (R-PA) and then as a legislative aide for Richard Hanna (R-NY) where he handled labor and employment issues as well as the science, space, and technology portfolio.
